Hotel a North Fork

“Enjoyed our visit. Restaurant inside hotel very good.”

“Was quite but lots of roaches”

“It was clean and comfortable. There was somewhat of a slow response at check in. But everything was fine.”

“Everything was very clean staff was great. Usually I avoid Ecolodges because they aren’t clean but this was one very good and cannot beat the price.”

“Just what I needed”

“Older property but clean and close to everything. Stay here annually”

“We paid to have our son stay at this hotel and I am so embraced to say we did. He got to his room and there were sting bugs in the room. When he informed the front desk they acted surprised that he would want another room. The new room was okay but not as clean as we like. Also there was low battery on the ac/heat which could have easily have gone out. The food for breakfast was no very good. This hotel definitely needs some work and a face lift. I just do not feel comfortable recommending this...

“Room was great, clean, bedding wonderful. Bathroom does not have a fan...terrible. Shower curtain not wide enough, water gets on floor. Worst shower head ever.”

“The room was dirty, bedding was disgusting. It was stained, looked as if someone had either vomited or urinated and stained the bed cover, as well as stained blood. We killed a stink bug on the wall and found a dead one on the window sill. Mold on the wall in the bathroom. Very dirty corners of the room and bathroom. We have stayed here for years when we travel. The last 2 times have not been a good experience. We will not be back!!”

“Room was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful.”

“Nice”

“The staff was extremely helpful and very nice. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend the property”

“The mattress on the bed was excellent, though the pillows could be better. The interior spaces were full of a huge array of fine antiques. The exterior spaces are under construction or in need of maintenance. Breakfast was a true Southern experience and a good fit if you are planning to bike the Virginia Creeper. The bathrooms are shared among the guests with the exception of the Honeymoon Suite, which is huge. The estate is minutes from the trail and the outfitters who support bikers and...

“Good clean room for the stay.”

“The air conditioner did not keep room cool.”
